CARSTEN HÖLLER REVOLVING HOTEL ROOM

Carsten Holler is a Belgian artist known for his KUSH installations, that almost always require the participation of museum-goers.  His newest show Divided Divided is on view at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, opening February 6th in the Netherlands; the space has become a virtual hotel room, so much so that visitors can book the room for one evening.  The bedside table and minibar is mounted on revolving disks, meaning that the view from bed will be different each night.  Most KUSH about this modern design masterpiece?  Guests in the Revolving Hotel Room have 24-hour access to the entire museum.

The Revolving Hotel Room was first on display at the Guggenheim in New York City, and gives a whole new meaning to Night at the Museum.
